Triton Clothing was established 18 years ago, born out of a desire of supplying the Consumer with top quality, well priced, branded and marketed underwear. Our intention was to specialise in Mens and Boys underwear, but the demand soon warranted our Company to extend the range to include both Ladies and Girls underwear. Our garments are marketed and distributed through most leading Clothing Retail Groups nationally, and more recently, we have had the pleasure of exporting selected ranges to the USA and the UK.

It was the hard laboured efforts of our CEO, Mr S. Moodley who engineered this operation by initially setting up base with 6 sewing machines, and a staff of 8 dedicated workers. Through sheer perseverance, dedication and total commitment, Triton Clothing has grown to become a leading edge manufacturer of both high quality underwear and Casual Garments in the KZN Clothing Industry.

Triton Clothing is a family owned and administered Enterprise. Yugan Moodley, the Financial and Marketing Director, ensures the smooth running of the Business as well as the marketing of the manufactured garments. It is the continued efforts and persistence of Vinay Moodley, our Production Director, to make sure that production is effected timeously without sacrificing quality, at any given time.

We currently manage two manufacturing facilities, one in the heart of the Phoenix Industrial Hub, on the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal, and the second, down the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal. Our plant in Phoenix Durban has a staff complement of 150 people, including administration and production, while the Operation down South employs 120 people.

Both our facilities make use of state-of-the-art equipment and related peripherals. Our Production facility is currently set up to produce 10 000 pairs of underwear on a daily basis. We have Inline Quality Control Inspectors monitoring production, to ensure manufacturing of the highest standards at all times.
